Built by Master Luthier, George Rizsanyi who, as well as Chris, has also made custom guitars for a long list of celebrities including Sting, James Taylor, Keith Richards, Peter Gabriel, Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Bob Dylan’s band and Keifer Sutherland.

Each guitar is one of a kind, the craftsmanship is incredible and George preferred to use aged timber source locally. I don't know what the timber is and Chris didn't either but I don't remember playing any OM that could could match it for sheer volume and fullness of tone. It responds equally well to light fingerpicking or digging in with a flatpick and the string balance is exceptional.

The guitar was ordered stage ready so it is fitted with an LR Baggs iMix system which combines the award-winning iBeam and Element with a miniature all-discrete class A FET preamp/stereo mixer.

It has adjustable mid contour controls for both the iBeam and Element as well as a low cut control for the iBeam so it's easy to match to the guitar. It also has a soundhole-mounted dual control for master volume and mix. Several FOH engineers have commented on how easy it was to get the spot on through the PA.

The guitar will come in a Deluxe Hiscox case with a signed letter from Chris Difford.

Niche Guitars generally uses Despatch Bay as its' main shipper, Yodel and Parcelforce for UK deliveries and DHL for overseas deliveries. We try to get the item shipped within 48 hours of payment, not counting weekends and Bank holidays.

Under the conditions outlined in the Distance Selling Regulations, Niche Guitars operates a 7 day returns policy, which allows UK and EU customers to return the item within 7 days from the receipt of the same for a refund. If you wish to return the item please notify us within 48hrs of delivery.

We request the item is returned undamaged and in its original saleable condition complete with packaging. The seller reserves the right to refuse to refund or take compensatory action against the consumer for breach of their statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods during this period.

The cost and safe return of the item is the responsibility of the consumer. We recommend the item is securely packed, insured and returned by a reputable courier. Refunds will be processed within fourteen days of return.
